I saw this movie during this week end. I would give 3.5 out of 5 score. I would have rated it better, if the story line is something like this:

"""
Two friends looking forward to make it big in film industry. Saravanan, working as a assistant director have dreams to become a good director and direct quality films. Kannaiyan, looking forward to become an actor. They are talented enough, but they did not get a chance.

Saravanan have spend so many years and prepared a lifetime script. He almost got a chance to direct a movie. Meanwhile, Kanniyan is helpless but to steal the script, register under his name and also convince the producer and a famous director to use this script in which he plays the lead role. The film becomes a super-hit and he become one of leading star.

Saravanan is unable to do anything against Kanniyan, as he have registered the script in his name. Meanwhile, a leading actress fall in love with Saravanan, and they get in wed-lock. Saravanan faces many more failures in the tenure and finally decide to make compromise.

He talks to Kanniyan and requests to give him a chance to direct one of his movie. Kanniyan defends his act as he was helpless to achieve his dream come true. His intention was to become a star and he didn't have any other option than stealing Saravanan's script. They do a film together and it becomes a hit. In media, they appreciate each other whenever they get a chance and life goes on so for both ...
"""

Wish to know the original story line ... well, go and watch the movie!

It was a beautiful film. It is love, love & only love based film. The story goes like this: A (arun) & B (deepu) loves each other. X (mkapoor) loves A and Y (bharath, our hero!) loves X. Since, X loves A, Y take efforts to seperate A & B, thus X can love & marry A.

We can go this film without much expectation and spend 3hrs very well.

Film Actors turned politician

These days, many film actors become politicians. At the least, they provide support to a political party. In Tamil Nadu, assembly elections are due in May 2006. Here is the list of actors compaigning for assembly election:

AIADMK (lady first): Sarat kumar, Radhika (Mrs. Sarat Kumar), Senthil, Vijayakumar, Murali, Simran, Vindya, Radha Ravi, S.S.Chandran, S.V.Sekar, etc ...

DMK: Nepolean, T.Rajender, Bagyaraj, Thyagu, Chandra Sekar, Kumari Muthu, etc ...

DMDK (Hope i spelt it correctly): Vijayakant (his own party)

Why this incident is very common ?

They act in films. Once they loose interest or out of field, they look around for a way to earn. They don't have knowledge/ability to earn in any other field. They have popularity and choose political field. They join a party, work for some months/years and move on to different party for reasons known only to them. Do they really increase the vote bank for the concerned party ? IMO, no. They gather crowd, but they are not converted as votes. When will the party leaders understand and close the doors for these actors ?
